myfuture is Australia’s national online career information and exploration service. Developed and maintained by Education.au and launched in 2001, myfuture is freely available on the internet, and aimed at all Australians wishing to explore their career options, especially students.
myfuture provides 600 national occupation descriptions, 250 industries sector descriptions, 2,700 industry, occupational and employer contact details, 18,500 courses and 1,600 education and training providers in over 3,000 locations as well as 2,300 scholarships offered by over 400 organisations. myfuture attracts 2.6 million pageviews every month. The service was formally recognised by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and is also available in New Zealand in a modified version.
myfuture is a joint initiative of the Australian, State, and Territory governments.
